Easter week...............

Well, all being well we plan on doing a C.I cruise maybe Cartaret, maybe ST Malo too.Maybe a start and finish in Cherbourg.maybe.

Have the week off after Easter - so 10 days of cruising yippeee.!!

We were talking t'other day and realised not met many forumites, so if you're planning on a jump across the English Channel Good Friday - perhaps a meet going across or , or, or , you know the thing. If enough post up we can have a proper cruise in Company !

All depends on weather etc etc, we'll be coming out the Hamble all being well as the sun is rising on a beautiful day !

We'll be going anyway, (subject to weather etc) so any virgin channel crossers welcome, either cruise with, or for vhf contact en route etc.


If not - put a post up on what you are doing !

Isn't starting a voyage on a Friday bad luck, and Good Friday doubly so?



I'll be canopy scrubbing, or SWMBO will be if I can manage to arrange that.

I haven't heard that, but interesting nontheless !

Seems like no-one else is planning going away or using their boats then anyway - all being used as caravans ! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif


Did my canopies a couple of weeks ago - very satisfying as I had the starting of mildew on the inside of the cockpit cover. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I used some Starbrite stuff, very good.

Thought this was the start of the season - Cherbourg is usually busy Easter weekend - in all the years I've been boating it has been. Still, looks like we're going to have a quiet time on Q pontoon this year !
