I had to wait for the carers to arrive before I could get up and have my breakfast. As a birthday treat I had a bacon sandwich which they cut up into small pieces for me so I could manage it.
After breakfast I went for a long walk, from one room to the next with the aid of my go-faster zimmer frame. I am now settled watching daytime tv. My hearing aid is turned up full so I can just hear it.
For lunch I had a bit of boiled fish and potatoes.
This afternoon I will probably doze off and not wake up till the carers return to feed me again and put me to bed.
I'm so glad I worked hard all my life so I could enjoy my old age.
And a belated Happy Birthday from the Belgistan chapter!
Your wonderful Lancashire red rose burgee was worn with pride these last 2 weeks in Greece, and teehee, no-one knew wot it meant (except me)
