Two moderately well known Forum bottom feeders are heading North to the frozen wastes to diddle with another boat in the far north of the kingdom.

In the interests of international understanding and development, we should offer a reciprocal event in early season 2008. Who will stand and be recognised? Or at least offer a berth or two?

could someone please decipher this post

or is it ....ve hav vays of making you talk....

there is of course always a berth available aboard Still Dunno for any forumites who might be near by.

I was hoping for an interpretation too /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
I think he's talking about the Southern East coasters coming up to see us Northern East coasters in Lowestoft /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif , damn good idea if he is /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
It doesn't look like Still Dunno and T25 are destined to get together for that weekend trip we were hoping for any time soon though /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif the weather gods seem dead set against it /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Oh no, we are talking much further North than that!
We are talking our brethren who manufacture fire water and go Hoots Mon at all opportunities, and other simlar sounding stuff for the tourists.

A cultural exchange is envisaged, with them meeting the local dignitaries and sampling fine cuisine and our muddy puddles.

You don't mean /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Not the land of skirt wearing men /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
For sure such a voyage would almost certainly mean taking on the mighty sea dragon of the Tyne /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
and if anyone intends to do this with spare berths , the T25 would love the opportunity /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Good idea Jim , though I suspect Still Dunno may find it a bit expensive /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif sorry Dougie /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Dearie me.you are being a little obtuse today David.
The idea is that we go in person, leaving our boats where they are. When we get there, we break someone elses boat, when they come here, they break ours. Simple really.....

Well why didn't you just say that /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Breaking other peoples boats eh , now there's a thought /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Jim,

In the name of international harmony, I tdo agree that we should offer a reciprocal visit when safely aboard, and under the influence of heavily distilled fire water....

Would be a great exchange..... two more different sailing areas would be hard to imagine..... I suggest somewhere that shows the East Coast off at is very most different..... perhaps Tollesbury?
