Hello,
We have an old Kingfisher 30 bilge keeled boat we have done all of the below waterline, new second hand engine and she is pretty much ready to launch. We have moved up to a bigger boat and will be selling her when I have finished off the interior wiring.
I wondered if anyone has any leads on cheap swinging moorings on the Orwell/Deben or nearby short term or for the season. Had a quick phone around and the yards at the top of the Deben seem cheapest but wondered if I am missing a trick.

Cheers, Colin.

If you are selling the boat and need to continue working on her in the meantime then why do you want her afloat at all. Wouldn't you be better at ashore at one of the two yards at the top of the Deben; Larkman's or Melton Boatyard. In both cases their main business is winter ashore layup, therefore plenty of space and cheap rates for the summer, also easier to sell a boat ashore as a buyer is bound to want a survey.
