I feel rather awkward asking this, but has anyone heard from Dominic Buckley recently, please?

He surveyed 'Arendala' for me in early April, and phoned me to give a reassuringly good verbal summary the same evening.

Since then, I've heard absolutely nothing more from him.

I know he's a knowledgeable, decent, well-respected chap.

I do hope he's ok.

I've owned many boats, over several decades, and Dominic's reputation for being knowledgeable and thorough, with a keen eye for detail, is clearly very well deserved.

Unlike some surveys I've seen, this will undoubtedly be a really valuable point of reference.

I have always very much enjoyed reading your posts in reply to questions on these forums, and have learned a lot from them.

This is all rather humbling . We hear so much about how bad social media can be our wellbeing, but our little community here does seem to have such positive concern for its members. Thank you all for your kind thoughts.

Thankyou especially to both Neal and James for your patience during this difficult time: I'm still playing "catch-up" at present, but James should also have his report within the next couple of days.

Dominic has just done a survey on a boat I am intending to buy and after a preliminary report has gone incommunicado. This must be a recurrence of whatever illness caused his absence earlier this year. Anyone got any further information? Dominic if you are reading this forum could you please get in touch about Ina?
