Early Antifoul question

Our boat's now laid up for the winter. We usually Antifoul a couple of weeks before relaunch in March.
But even with global warming February weather can still be uncomfortably cold. So, I was thinking of painting in December.

We normally use Blakes Tiger. Do any of you know what effect leaving it for a couple of months before immersion will have?

Whilst I usually antifoul within days of launching I have noticed there is normally a maximum time to 'immersion' noted on the tin. Presumably the main issue would be the colour fading rather than loss of antifoulding property?

no no the issue is with the biocides.
