Hi Guys,
I am looking for any advise regarding Eagle 32 Trawler 1991 with Sabre Lehman 135L 6-cylinder engine. I know it is pretty rare boat in Europe and I am thinking of buying one. Any advise regarding the boat or engine would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I can't really speak for the boat apart from to say they're a very bonny looking vessel, from a mechanical point the ford Lehman are solid as a rock, you really can't go wrong with them. Simple to work on and parts are readily available and relatively cheap.
If the price suits and you like the boat and go for it.

I looked at one at the Soton boatshow many years ago. I remember being impressed by it.

I now have another trawler yacht with twin Lehman 135s. They're now almost 35 years old and still as sweet as a nut. All they need is clean diesel, regular oil changes and not much else. Being naturally aspirated they are very unstressed and I expect mine to last for many years after I've gone. The only things to look out for are the marinisation bits such as the raw water pump and coolers. Even these are still easily available from a number of different suppliers in the UK.

Good luck, let us know how you get on.

Thank you Guys for your replies. Yes, there are two at the market currently. Not able to go and look at them due to the virus.
