Hi Guys,

there is a "Standard Horizon CP1000 Chart Plotter fish finder NEW" on e-bay, too good to be true? this is a good unit and I was planning one getting the smaller version.

Coming from the US. Power Seller.

Any Advice?

Cheers,

Clive.

Definitely not worth bidding on. Will be a waste of money. would recommend nobody bothers. Throwing your money down the drain IMHO. Got to be a rip off (Hope I win!!!) /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Looks genuine...

If you look at the seller's other items for sale, it appears he's a serious eBay trader. His feedback comments look good. Also, if you look at his completed items, he's sold a fair bit of Navman and Raymarine kit recently.

Big thing to watch for is where the goods are shipped from, as the seller is registered in the US. If he's shipping from there, you may well have to pay import duty and VAT, which could make a significant difference to the real price you pay. Probably best to confirm this with the seller before bidding.
