hello all
would anyone have a diagram or picture as to which wire goes to which terminal on a dynastart. i had it all drawn on a beer carton box on disassembly but the box has now been thrown away.
There's a D+, DF (?), battery and a small unnamed one.
engine is a MD6A.

This the wiring for a Bosch Dynastart as fitted to the early Bukh diesels. AFAIK the wiring codes are standard for these things.

You will find the wiring diagrams in the owners manual or workshop manual for the MD6A both of which which you will find HERE .

It appears to be clearer in the owners manual.

Only thing to add is that if the control box has been replaced recently it could be with separate regualtor and solenoid instead of the original in which they were combined into one unit.
