Took a stroll the other night and the bay looked very tranquil. Very civilised.

Took a quiet stroll along the waterfront from the Hotel and this was the view ...............

then a little way on found this quiet little bar with its own little harbour ......

Sitting sipping a beer .... the world of ships and the 100,000 ton of Crude Oil I was inspecting seemed not to matter anymore ....

If you like shots like these find a book by John Wyatt called "The Shining Levels" It's an old fashioned tale of a woodsman in the lake district.
