Caught my prop on a rock over the weekend /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Damaged the inner prop.
I have an S25 Kad 32 install. Does anyone know which type of duoprops i need to buy ie b3 etc. I forgot to have a look before leaving the boat.
Many thanks

I'd expect them to be A5's, but you need to check properly !
Might be best to give Sealine a quick call with your hull number to check...

they also cost a fortune to replace or repair compared to normal props, so if you like delving into the shallower parts of UK waters, not a great idea.

Main disadvantage with SS is that the blades are so strong, that if you do hit the bottom, you stand a good chance that the props will remain perfect and the gears in the outdrive break.

With Alu props, they might become cauliflower shaped, but at least a new set of Alu props isn't £3.5k

SS are only really required on high output engines (e.g. 8.1 Litre petrols) or big diesels at 40kts plus...
