duo props - how to fit the new ones

i can obviously match the way the blades are set up at present
that's assuming they are correct at present

how are they supposed to match up re the front and back blades
and which way round ?

they are J props

That chestnut. I'm not sure it makes much difference as you will probably get some hub slip from time to time unless on J props. I was told Y then I under the cavitation plate. i.e. no two blades shall pass under the cavitation plate simultaneously

I dont think it is possible to fit them the wrong way round?
I never gave any thought to the relative alignment .

no i don't think so either, but being new to all this stuff it does no harm to ask 'stupid' questions and being pointed in the right direction ....

Have a good look inside the props at where the "spiral" sections start and end.
Then take a look at the prop shafts and where the spiral sections are on there.
It becomes obvious as to what should go where.
