I used one once for a week and it was utterly superb, even for coastal cruising.

You probably did and there are quieta few for sale in the rias……so far we have not been out sailing just generally sorting out the interior ,lots of space and trying to locate a porta potti.until my cataract op has been given the all clear there is not much we can do.

That’s frustrating for you; I understand how you feel.

Shortly after I bought my boat I sustained a subdural hematoma in a skiing accident. My neurologist wouldn’t let me take the boat out until he’d given me the all clear. Still, I can’t complain; I’m lucky it didn’t kill me, and I got there in the end.
