My tender sits on the beach and for years I've made various contraptions to let the rain out from the inside and keep the sea out when the tide comes in. Had some success and one catastrophic failure! Sank on the mooring! I see a device called a duckbill drainer but only in OZ and NZ. Anyone know A if that would work B where to get in this country ( UK ) or has anybody done anything else . Best I did was flexible flat hose with a float.

Try Googling "automatic flapper drain." Many sources in the US, including Hme Depot (hardware store chain). Sold in both plumbing and marine stores.
