everywhere i look for the soon to be compulsary dsc fixed radio sets, im met by massive prices on the internet with downright silly postage fees or cheap prices in catalouges with hidden prices such as postage and vat.

does antbody in this world know where i can get a good set such as a SILVA S15, NAVMAN 7100 or 7200?

these are the only sets i want as i trust the maker and like the style!

please help me people as you are all wise and all knowing boating oracles!

ive looked around many places and it seems different radios cost many different prices. i think i will have a read of that review that was mentioned it might shed some light onto the reason why the prices fluctuate so much.

Be aware that cut price isn t everything when it comes to Dsc unless you are only intent on fitting anything as long as it complies.

I would suggest you rephrase your question.

What DSC are not only cheap but are user friendly and relatively easy to be used as intended without requiring the operations manual to be at hand to show a convoluted menu system /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Some are a wee bit less user friendly that others when it comes to using the DSC correctly.
