Could be looking at parking in New Town Creek and taking the tender to the New Inn to give them some money in exchange for beer.
Can’t remember when Shalfleet Quay dries, I have a vague recolection of it being 1.8 above CD.
I don’t want to be dragging the tender knee deep in mud, again.

You could use the quay further north than Shalfleet and walk to the Horse and Groom, its a longer walk, pub is OK but on the main road, a busy road by IOW standards

There is also the option, for the adventurous, with wellies! At around HW springs, to dinghy up Clamerkin Lake, turn into Rodge Brook, there's a foot bridge and just under there a landing point, its about 1/2 mile to the Sportsman's Rest. I've never done it, not sure how practical it really is. Please report back!
