Coming from rag and stick world but I know motor guys have better knowledge of SofF. I am looking to lay up my Bavaria 42 in the SofF late June through late August as have other commitments. Am aware of the Port Napoleon/ Port Royale facilities west of Marseille and have used them in the past. Are there any alternative facilities further east that would work without the Camargue mosquitoes? Dry storage fine.
Thanks

Unclear whether the focus here is dry or in water.

For in water mooring you’re in peak season. For economy you could try loano.

For dry storage you are in the cheapest season. Plenty of low cost dry availability at Bleumer in villeneuve Loubet and also at propriano dry storage.

Mosquito land/Napolean is still probably the cheapest.

Thanks JFM. Bleumer gets dauntingly terrible reviews on Navilly but perhaps that refers to the work in the yard. Suspect we will go and see the mosquitoes again - on the plus side so many great workshops in Port Napoleon. Do you have any direct experience on Bleumer?

I have used Bleumer solidly for over 20 years and I like them. The yard has recently been refurbished. I couldn't find the navily reviews but I don't use navily much - I could find the marina baie des anges reviews but not any shipyard reviews.

Good Evening!

Commuting between Germany and the Med some of my German club friends stopped during the last years regularly in Port Napoleon/Port St. Louis and were pleased with this location.

I‘ve never been there by myself and can only forward their experiences.

It seems to be ok letting the boat there for some weeks or during winter.

Cordially! Stefan

Luxury boat Itama 38 Sportline rental in Saint-Tropez (83) French Riviera - Suncap

Plenty around St Tropez / port Grimaud.

I ve added a link to SunCap ^ -use the “ contact “ to check them out the have a few very large hangers near by and store clients boats ,+ other toys = cars , bikes , helicopters et al .
Some toys are indefinitely stored .
They also winterise there own charter fleet indoors . I been to there main hanger .

Christoph is the the guy .

There’s also Villanova bros on the Ghiselle ( sp ?) …..they have semi indoor sheds …a roof but open at the front .

In the summer these storage facilities will be empty - 1/2 empty and able to accommodate your needs .

You will need to do your own digging as the hanger service isn’t obvious…..contact them ^ .
Plenty of storage about .

There’s no need to go to Loano . They don’t do dry there as such and there yard hard standing ( Amico group) is quality but pricey and busy . Talking from experience here . Short monthly rates in the marina are on par with the SoF . There is a train line from NCE or Genoa airports though.
