Having sold my Bene 33.7 earlier in the year, I am moving to a more immediately moist form of yachting with a Cork 1720. I also intend to move sailing location to the Hamble. Can someone advise me on where I can dry-sail a 1720 from, at least for a couple of months during the summer. Thanks,
Simon

The best place to dry sail from is Port Hamble or Hamble Yacht Services. All the 707's, SB3's, 1720's etc dry race from there every weekend.
I have always fancied a spin in a 1720 if you are ever short...

Hamble Yacht Services do this too. Also security is imprtant and HYS have 24hr security guards who are very good so if you go and see even your own boat late at night aargh he comes up behind just as on the flippin ladder. Heck, he is good ...

Try Warsash on the other side of the river to Hamble Point and close to the harbour entrance.
