Dropping

The river here is slowly but surely dropping, maybe 4" overnight. I saw Mike Eagles today the Lockie at Goring. He assures me there's no water being held back and told me the flooding downstream of us was caused by Sulham Brook not the Thames.
He also told me that his levels didn't reach 2003.

Tacked this onto an earlier thread, but Henley levels are fractionally lower than yesterday. Hobbs to the Angel pathway isn't QUITE so awash....

Holding the same level as it was Wed am. Easily 4 foot lower than 2003 level... so far!

Oh that's just downstream of Penton BTW.

I've just been down to Sunbury and it's up about 4" from Monday . On the footpath now .

It's dropped a little in Abingdon, maybe 6 inches but still over the mooring bank at 5pm by about 4 inches where we are.
