Driving to SOF

We are taking our new williams tender to france via rotterdam on a trailer.

Do we need any extra bits for driving in europe apart from the usual car bits and stickers?

When I drove to Greece from Germany with a windsurfer some time ago, the fact I had a windsurfer with me was recorded in my passport and then stamped on exiting Greece. If I had left it there, I would have had to pay tax.

No idea if customs and immigration are clued up or not for boats on trailers.
I imagine the consequences of getting caught returning to the UK without it and not having imported it will be unpleasant.

Please keep us informed on how you get on. On this forum I’ve only heard of people taking small stuff to the EU and not having any problems. Caravaners don‘t seem to care too much.
Just for interest (or not) this is the form (I think) if you intend to bring back within 3 years.
