To all you experienced gentlemen sailors out there who gave me advice on the shaft/engine vibrations I was experiencing last month with my newly refitted Volvo MD2B, a big THANK YOU, because after studying your various responses, I ended up fitting a Vetus Bullflex coupling between the gearbox and the shaft, fitting new injectors and the result has been impressive in cutting down the vibrations. I can now cruise along at a good 8 knots with hardly a vibration from the engine. Many thanks for your good advise. Any of you gentlemen ever in the Geneva area, I'm in the phone book and I have one of the best equipt floating bars on the lake - please come by any time - afloat all year around!!!
