Drive Problem

I have a Sealine 22 with a volvo aqad40a +280 outdrive
i was out today and found that when i accelerate i get to about 3000 rpm it seems to go into neutral, it would remind you of the clutch slipping in a car
Any ideas?

Yep, It's the the rubber joint gone inside the prop. It is like a shock absorber and joins the inside to the outside. There are specialist prop people who will do the mend try

i was a bit worried it was something inside the leg + going to cost ££££s

I'm afraid they can't / won't rebush volvo props, it will have to be a new prop.

Yeh, I was told the same when it happened to me in Yugoslavia (first day of the holiday some years ago) I had assumed that in the UK the repair could be done.
