Hi Rick, I will be up for a pint on Thursday. I trust you have got rid of the bug or I will have to sit in the other bar?? Had a very good weekend out, superb weather, great ride back yesterday.
Fortunately, I've not succumbed to the bug yet (so no excuse for the gym this morning 
- everyone else has though. Emma is off school again today, but Dan has gone back now.
I did look at the weather at chimet etc. and it did look okay, would definitely have been out. OTOH, we're down at this weekend and its already looking a bit iffy. Did you end up meeting up with Wiggo?

Yes, had a very quiet night in East Cowes, a nice cup of cocoa and an early night. I’m sure that if you believe that you will believe anything. Graham and Sue obviously very chuffed to have their boat back.

I'll probably still trundle up if you're still going Derek? Brendan said he may make it, depends on whether his meeting was on or not.

On studying my stupidity further, I have discovered that to get to The Wheelwrights you go under the A328(M) and it's just on the right. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

"Have you had a refurb in here?" I asked the barmaid.
"Yes" she said "but mostly in the dining area."
Well it looked exactly the same from the outside in the dark and nearly the same inside, so I had another drink (lime & soda /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif). My problem was that I didn't think that I would recognise anyone since Brendan had bottled out and I didn't know you were going.
So I waited until 8:30 and buggered off home, just checking on the way out with the doubt that it was the wrong place. I did think about continuing up the road to see if the station was the, but ho hum.
Got back home and relised that you were meeting in The Wheelwrights and NOT the Plough.
