1. Mariners are advised that dredging operations will commence Monday 18 June 2007, or soon thereafter, to restore the depth of water across Chichester Bar to 1.5 metres below Chart Datum.

I thought it was a bit shallow as we crossed on the way in for Kids Out Day. That day there was about 1.5m of water at low water springs (tide predicted to be 0.6m above datum). Fortunately it was calm and we only draw 1.2m!
