Drawer runners

By 'Chinese ones' do you mean the powder coated runners you can buy from Screwfix etc. The ones I've seen mostly seem to come with nylon rollers?

No I meant the steel equivalents of the SS one. They are generally two part and have linear ball races top and bottom. I have bought them for kitchen use and they are very impressive and cheap even from B&Q.

My reference to powder coated was as you suggest. That seems a safe way to go but I would welcome at sea experience.

We have wooden runners and drawers with wooden fronts but pre-moulded plastic snap together bodies so can't help any more...
