For what its worth here is my boat...A Uniflite next to its sister a US Navy PBR.
Made famous in the movie "Apocolyspe Now" The Picture was taken In 1972 in Bellingham Washington. The Hulls are identical and extremely tough. The boat itself is rare only a few hundred 31 ft crusiers were made out of the leftover military production hulls.

Made of fire retardent Hetron resin and almost two inches thick the boat is able to withstand 7.62mm rounds without penetrating to the inside of the boat.the military hulls ran big diesels with jet legs that allowed a total draft of three inches.Pretty impressive stuff for seven tons.

My mistress however has no need to go ripping over three inches of mangrove swamp....She's a little longer LOA 35.5 ft with big forward rail and a swim platform and tender on the back.Twin chrysler small block V8's push me merrily along at 25 knots cruise ...38 knots top speed I draft 2.8 feet...2.5 feet of which is the running gear/shaft/ 16 inch cupped props
direct driven borg warner trannys. The boat will go onto full plane at 11 knots and has huge Bennett Tabs which give the boat amazing performance and control

She looks in lovely condition. You obviously look after her well. Must be very nice to have that amount of solid hull around you /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
