I recently bought a Starfisher 840wa which is showing quarter full in the holding tank. Can anyone give details on how to operate the drain pump to empty the toilet waste tank. I have read that there is a drain pump connected to empty the holding tank. Is there a switch to operate this pump.

When you flush the toilet is this using a different pump. I looked at the manual and see a pump fitted which is called the drain pump this pump is the one I'm looking for a switch somewhere

That looks like the deck wash pump that I have on my ST840!
I don’t have a holding tank so can’t help with your issue, sorry !

Before you operate the pump ensure that the discharge valve is open

Hi spent an hour or so today on the boat trying to diagnose the issue. The boat appears to be set up different to the manual but was able to use the manual to read the electrical circuits. The fuse for the pump was blown and after replacing it blew again. I suspect the macerator pump has short circuited. Probably easier to replace it. Think the switch I was looking for is what I thought might be the bilge switch but may be an automatic bilge pump on this boat.

Mine has an auto bilge pump just in front of the engine. It uses an audible alarm to notify you if a problem has accrued ! Your should no doubt be the same !
