I've just had a Dragons Den moment (no copying now).Us kerosine cowboys all have problems with propeller fouling causing loss of speed and fuel consumption. Why don't manufacturers produce them with a none stick teflon finish similar to saucepans ect. They could also do the same on your existing ones were they in good condition. Some of the modern coatings they put on these days seem very tough as all of us henpecked husbands know. It would last longer than trying to paint them with antifoul or coat them in lanolin both of which I am informed doesn't last long.Am I barking up the wrong tree or pi**erling up it because it is not possible and whats worse have I just given away a good idea that could make my fortune? (doohh)

I dont think the problem with prop fouling is due to the prop blade surfaces having too much friction. The way most prop fouls seem to occur IMHO is when one of the blades catches a rope and winds it round the shaft. I dont see how low friction blades are going to stop that. They might help boat speed though

Just checked my wife's non stick saucepan and shock horror - there are no barnacles or weed growth on it!
Seems like a plan to me.:):)

Would it be too much to ask of you to tie a rope to it and hang it over the stern for a few months and report back please .

If mad boater has got it wrong just pop it in the dishwasher and tell swmbo you found the missing pan at the back of the cupboard while you were spring cleaning for her ;)
