Hi , wondering if anyone can give me some advice. Last year i purchased a dragonfly pro 4 for my motor boat. it worked great all last year but this year after putting my boat back in the water it cuts out when i increase my engine to full revs. I have a mariner 40HP 4 stroke engine.
ive tried the basics removing he positive supply from the fuse switch board ( incase it was an issue witht he switch board)so it is powered direct from the battery through a fuse but the same happened.
open to all advise reletavly new to the boating world.

The Operating Voltage Range is from 10.8 V DC to 15.6 V DC.

It may be that the outboard alternator is playing up - perhaps a bad connection creating surge DC voltage ?

Can you check the battery voltage directly with a meter and rev the engine ?
