Morning all, after viewing a Sea Ray 240 yesterday..... see thread

http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?523784-Should-I-be-suspicious-new-engine

The agent showed us another boat that he had recently got in, it was a Drago Sorocos 640 from 2005. It had a mercruiser 4.3 engine. Price £25500.

The difference in the cockpit on this boat compared to other 24ft boats was incredible, it had huge amounts of room compared to the Searay, it was alot more modern design all over the boat with more storage. It felt longer than it actually was.

Does anyone know much about these boats? I have searched on the internet and found very little.

The agent didn't know how many hours the boat/ engine had on it, also no paperwork for repairs or servicing since 2017 so guessing not much has happened since then.

Hi, PDF! Can I just say that these inboard Mercruisers require you to enjoy tinkering with engines;)
A four stroke outboard, of more recent vintage, is by far a more reliable power plant

IMHO the Sea Ray would be an easier sell in the future on the basis that It is a well known, popular and respected make.
Something worth considering....
