I am restoring a Draco 3000 from the mid 1970s with twin volvo 3.0l 6cylnder engines and volvo outdrives. I intend to restore sympathetically. Much has been changed so I would be grateful if anyone who has experience of this boat would be prepared to give me info/photos as to original fit out, particularly on fly bridge, galley and head. I am particularly interested to see layout/position of flybridge helm (which on mine is resting on axle stands) and seating configuration and on basin/shower layout/waterproofing in head.

Thanks in advance

Greg

You could try Windy in Norway, perhaps, though they dont seem to list your boat. I'm not sure when they took over Draco.

Thanks Chaps. It is indeed the boat in H2O's link. As far as the flybridge is concerned, it is a little more detail I seek on the poosition of the helm controls and seating (Thanks for the picture in the brochure on this), and for the head it is the basin/shower/waterproofing detail. I hope someone is still living out there who has one/has had one who can enlighten me. I am already looking for a B&O music centre to mount somewhere and some orange fabric for curtains.....

What a fascinating design....

They did a 3000 Sunbridge (nickname "The Bus", 3000 Saloon and a 3000 Bigfish... all with same hull...

... also had a 2500 model ...

Thank you all. That is helpful material. If anyone has anything else, I would be very grateful even if, by then, this thread is somewhat long in the tooth. I shall post pics as I go.
