hi
i have a viewing on a 85, she had new vp kad32 170 and duo prop in2002 with 260hrs to date, all normal extras
was wondering if anyone could comment on their seaworthyness i live in the solent and trips x channel do appeal
thanks

They are a well respected boat here in Norway, my mate has one and I have been out in 2 metre waves in it and it just punched through them. No doubt to its heavy construction, they built a patrol boat version based on the same hull and sold it to several navy's.
Will do x channel no problem, its a quirky design but works well, just make sure you are comfortable with the 'Italian driving position' -its a very low seat so you need long arms and short legs which can be uncomfortable on long trips if you are on the tall side as you tend to sit like Bhudda with crossed legs.

had one back in 78.. great Boat built like a preverbial with a Norks veritas Cert The boat I had had 2 x 145 petrols with no power steering so it was very very heavy to helm but I woud recommend the Draco I recon the Boat could do at least 3 engine changes before it was through
