DRA is a Gentleman

Sitting in Cumbria and getting a little concerned about the boat because I am 300 miles away so I thought I would log on to the forum and see if there was anyone Weybridge way that I could perhaps beg a favour from. Low and behold the first thing I see is PM from DRA to report that boat is OK covers are still on and there is nothing to worry about.

David, you are extremely thoughtful and a Gentleman of the first order. A virtual large single malt to you and I shall convert that to an actual next time we meet.

You're welcome! We intended to walk down to Thames Lock to have a look, but this is the view we found from the old bridge at Weybridge, so we didn't get any further.


The lock usually has a fall of 5 foot 6 inches.
