Just wondering if anyone has come across an issue with the leg trim/lift pump/motor on a D4/DPH? Relays clicking over but no movement on the leg and linked to this, no auto-trim with VP EVC so leg set at -5deg.

Your comments appreciated as relatively to the boating world so every day is an education! (and bill).....

I'm pretty certain there's a fuse or circuit breaker for the trim pump motor. The control signals to the relays come from EVC, but not the supply voltage to the pump.

edit; just checked, the fuse is 55A, located on the port side of the engine and there is also a negative connection to the starter.

I thought I'd got a similar problem on my boat. I discovered that the starboard leg would only trim if I also had the port side on.

I checked to confirm that the trim pump motor was working OK by running a wire down from the socket at the helm and connecting it to the trim pump wires.
