Dpg outdrive advice on pitch

Hi hope everyone is enjoying the weekend


My question is - I am trying to tilt my dpg outdrive to prime the inner part of the transom - what I am finding is it will tilt to +6 and on the dash only the 1st red led is lit.
Is there a way to override this to tilt right up? Am I missing something??

Vaguely from memory you have to press the red button (at the top ) ? and simultaneously press the + or arrow up .
This will "beach" them .
Press the red button and down arrow together to un-beach them .

Been a while (many years, actually!) since my last VP outdrive boat, but I also recall a combination of buttons, as PF said.
With the only slight difference that IIRC the trick is only necessary to raise the drive, while to lower it back it's sufficient to press the trim down button...
You could try a PM to Volvopaul - he might not see this thread, but he surely knows!

Just a quick question - is it wise to apply anything to the gear/gear rack that raises and lowers the drive ??
