Downsizing and upspeeding Part 3

There is a bewildering array of trailable sports cruisers at reasonable prices, the diesel powered versions are few. This is my latest possibility: Larson 254 Year 2000 with low hours Volvo KAD 32. Comments on boat and engine welcomed.

Its a decent boat,we sea trialed one when they were new in 2000. Although the engine was fine with 4 on board, it did struggle to get on the plane with a family of 4 and 2 salesman on board.

It tended to slam in short choppy seas but had an excellent amount of space for a 25 footer.

One word of warning, its barely legal to tow even when dry. With anchor, batteries a little fuel on board it will be over 3500kg on the trailer.
