Haveing paid for a digital 12 month subscription for MBM magazine I now find nobody wants to help in any kind of refund or switch to another magazine because MBM no longer publish.

i paid through iTunes but now Magsdirect who administer the digital subscription don't want to know. They direct me to iTunes and iTunes direct me to Magsdirect as do IPC.

So I have been conned out of about 9 months subscription charges!

its disgraceful! Big business passing the buck all round.

COME ON IPC GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND OWN UP, YOU TOOK MY MONEY KNOWING FULL WELL MBM MAGAZINE WAS CEASING TO PUBLISH.

Who is your actual contract with? iTunes will normally act on your behalf, but only after the seller fails to resolve the matter. My guess is that whoever sold it to you, will have to make good; they can then claim back some, not all, fees or commissions paid to iTunes etc. Did you pay by credit card? Could be the easiest.

Hi,
I paid via iTunes through my Pay pal account. But surely IPC are the company who receive the payment or they would not supply the magazine? I did get three publications before the magazine was dropped.

Good luck with that - IPC took a quarterly sub from my bank a/c on 26th September & have twice said they have credited a partial refund to same.

Paypal's buyer protection will only apply to a) digital content and b) after 35 days (up to 180 days) if you are a UK registered and resident user, which based on your given location may not apply to you.

I suggest you contact Magazines Direct on +44 844 848 0848 and ask for a guy called James - he told me there would be no issue with getting a refund.

Good luck.
