of the season... from the weather reports this weekend is looking pretty good in the South, and from end of next week every source that Im seeing is predicting the end of the decent weather and the return of winter.....

So I am back down to Plym, will skive the monday as well, nice bit of easterlies, probably do Salcombe/Newton.

So, wot plans for the last decent weather of the year??

Who says its the last?

When you have all removed your boats, I can roam without let or hindrance, I am certain there will be days that make the extended season worthwhile...

Probably the Yealm for us too.

Not only the last sail of the season, but the last sail on the current boat, upgrading to a half share of a Sadler 29 over the winter. Whilst I'm looking forward to that, it will be a sad day nonetheless, the Sadler 25 has looked after us well for the past seven years.

Well we've had this weekend planned for a while, and to see the weather forecast looking so good is heartening. This time tomorrow we'll be well into the channel on our way to Alderney for a long weekend !

However, we sail all year round, so it's just another weekend for us! We get so much fun from November through to April - we don't understand why people take their boats out. But don't stop though, we like the Solent being quieter!

Being quite well known for bucking the trend /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif it looks like I shall be finally launching when all the others are craning out /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif so it'll be the first rather than the last

John,

Hope you have a great time - sorry we can't join you, pressures of work etc. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Give our regards to Julia and looking forward to hearing about the trip on your return (over a few cold ones obviously!)
