Don\'t make plans...The Sequel!
Thanks to all those who replied to the first.
All the filters were re-checked, the system bled through once again. We ran the engine hard (in gear) tied to the pontoon for 1/2 hour running up to 1800 rpm. No problem. Then we did a 'sea' trial 2 hours down the creek and into the bay. 'Thumper' didn't put a foot wrong, he sounded like a sewing machine, well as much as an old Perkins can sound like one!
What was wrong - well - nothing was found so we are still at a loss to understand that one.
Weather forecast although from the right direction is for 6's & 7's for the weekend so we'll set off again next week. Fingers crossed.
