Don\'t hit me!
Newby on the block. Remember you were one once............
I have purchased a motor cruiser and even though the documentation tells me to make sure the seacocks are closed when the boat is not in use, they don't explain what closed looks like nor is there a diagram!!!
Looking at the seacocks, the 2 red handles (inlet and outlet) are currently 'in line' with the pipes. Is this closed or open??? My understanding from some DiY plumbing is that 'shut' is described when the handle is at 90 degrees to the flow.
The boat is a sealine. Yes I know I should ask them but currently they are taking about a week to respond!! Probably Southampton.
Thanks
