The October editon of the French yotties magazine 'Voiles et Voiliers' (http://www.voilesetvoiliers.com) has an article with stunning sequence of photos of a Hallberg Rassey 42 coming to grief as it tried to enter Dunbar at low water earlier this year. Although the weather was calm there was a swell in the harbour entrance that caused the boat to ground and resulted in it being totalled.

I not seen any mention of the accident in YM. Did any other corner of the British yachting press cover the incident?

Cheers

Shows they read Scuttlebutt!

We discussed this soon after it happened back in July (Search for Dunbar). All in all a frightening story.
