Dometic Moonlight 3

I ordered a new Dometic moonlight 3 just after the Southampton boat show after seeing them, I thought they looked pretty good. Paid for the cooker still haven't had delivery from Dometic is anyone else having problems with them.

Not very helpful from me but it's a superb cooker! Apart from the damn oven going out :ambivalence:

Had same problem with Thetford oven in caravan. Checked with the blogs and it seems if you move the burner 3mm towards the flame failure device it solves the problem

I bought a Starlight (2 burner with Grill) and had to return it when the oven wouldn't stay alight. Dometic (or the UK agent) sent an engineer to see if it could be fixed on board but after a bit of fiddling with the knob (he put some foil behind the knob saying there had been instances where the knob was pushed on too far) , it still wouldn't stay alight.

Marine Super Store in Port Solent were great and offered to exchange or change to a different make.

After the exchange it has performed flawlessly all year.

Same problem with brand new Starlight. Cure is to remove control knob and put a piece of card in centre of it, then push back on spindal.
