Hi there!
I have a Dometic Blutec 40D enclosed over the Yanmar engine, under the companionway of an Hanse 470e. When working, I can pickup temperatures of >90 degrees C at some points of the engine, with a laser thermometer. And now it's winter. Can't imagine on summer... The raw water cooling system is working perfectly and good amount of water is coming out. I've tried to find the working temperatures for these engines but I couldn't. Read 2 Dometic Blutec 40D manuals ("Operation, maintenance and installation manual" and "Installation and Operating Manual") and none refers to this temperature. Checked also the YANMAR L 70 N / 320cc engine manual, and there are no references to the working temperatures.
For the engine experts, what is the regular temperature I can expect to see when this engine is working?
