I have got a Dometic reverse cycle air con on the boat, the one with the square panels and AIRRRRRR written on it.

One of the panels works OK for a while and then shows eee in the display and air blows out but it is not cold.

I can't see anything in the manual to give me a clue why it is doing this - any one know what it means?

There are 4 panels on the boat but only one is doing this.

Which unit is causing the problem?

It's can,t cool -assuming compressor s running after a few mins
If its ---
Sea water valve stuck shut or sea water supply interrupted -kinked pipe /strainer needs a clean
Or air grill filter is clogged -not enough air getting in .

Now I really getting the full Med boating experience. I want to nip down to the boat to check if I can fix this problem but it is not 6 miles down the road it is in Mallorca and I am in Hampshire! To quote JFM "compromises, compromises".

Mike, it's the one by them helm seat.

Oh - thats a shame.
I did have a problem once with the saloon unit.
It was a long time ago and I think I switched it into "heating" mode for about 10 mins and then back to A/C.
I seem to remember that fixed the problem.

So, if Portofino is correct, that might work for the helm unit as well - may be a sticky valve.

Yep, it does happen this way sometimes - I came down (to SoF) last week just to reset my shorepower breaker. Ce là vie!
