It would be helpful to get some feed back from those Guys out there who use or have used the Dolphin Engine .Just looking at it for a 22ft sailboat

An excellent little engine. The weak point is without doubt the electric panel but treated with respect it gives years of good service. The engine does depend upon good batteries and I resorted to 2 for the engine and two for the domestics. Fitted solar panel for domestic bank and only used the engine ones for starting. The Dyna start cant put back what the domestic use takes out. Sound complicated but it isn't. Have just moved up to the 16 Hp version with a gearbox but the last one was at least 15 years old and still going strong and it was reconditioned when originally fitted! PM me if you want more info.
