Greetings,
I'm a former Freeman 32 owner (and veteran of epic MBM cruise to Netherlands) now with a big sailing yacht on the Solent.
I am time-rich...
I sold my Freeman to a friend who let me use her for odd holidays here and there, including a wonderful trip down the Thames two years ago with my little girl (who is now seven).
My other half's 'patch' includes the Thames Valley, so for a week in August, daughter and I cruised each day and adventured, and SWMBO joined us each night. (I have more free time than SWMBO, alas...)
I'd like to do that again...
So, if I can find someone who'd like to swap a week's use of a mobo on the Thames in August for a week on a fast sailing yacht (skippered, with tuition if you like, we could go to France...), or for work on your boat including a polish, antifoul, engine service, and the like, please PM me.
This is a genuine plea from a genuine boaty enthusiast! (I neither fancy helming a hire boat nor paying the August rates...)
