Does warming glue make it runnier?

I'm going to re glue some headlinings tomorrow. The tin of glue has been in a cold garage. Would it be easier to use if I warned it up first? (Yes, I tried google first).

Yes, but not too hot. And don't use a blow torch!

It's a general purposes contact glue supplied by C&J.

If possible I always warm up any glue, except superglue, unless it's a warm day, (and paint and antifouling as well actually), by standing the pot in a bowl of hot water, not hot enough to hurt your hand.
I fondly imagine that all these substances work better when warm.
If it's Araldite on a cold day I just tuck the tubes up in my armpit for a few minutes, then it's much easier to mix..

If you warm up a contact adhesive I think you will speed the evaporation of the solvent making it "go off" sooner when applied.

My Araldite tubes always seem to leak so I won't be trying that !

It's OK as long as you don't let your armpits come into contact with each other.
