Does my bottom need a clean?

He guys and gals,
Was out in good conditions Thursday but could only pull 3000 rpm on both engines with throttles against the stops (maxed out rpm should be 3750) , summise engines fine (TAMD41B) or you might expect differing rpm whereas both identical. Boat is shaft driven and has been 'in' since early October 2009. Do you think a quick lift and scrub might be a wise idea?.
