How far up the River Medina you can get from the Folly, at low water springs (say this Friday!!!) in a 2.8 mtr hard bottom tender?
Looking at the charts, not far past Island Harbour, but anyone else had any recent experience?

If you stay in the very center of the channel you can get close enough to the festival - almost into Newport itself.

About low tide last year on the Saturday, it was too shallow for most boats, people were wading across!

Looks like we should be OK, at least the tide will be on it's way up the later it gets......if we have a really good night we could come back on a high tide!!!
