Does anyone know what position i fit the fuel pump in on a bmc 1.5?????

Assuming you mean a Diesel, do you mean lift pump or injection pump ?

I mean the injection pump

I think there's a pointer on the flange that the pump is bolted to. On the pump body, there's another arrow.

Align the two.
